The Aqara Smart Lock U200 is designed to seamlessly integrate with the robust Matter platform and is compatible with leading smart home ecosystems, including Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, and Aqara Home. With the Aqara Hub M3, you can enable the remote unlock feature and set up automations within the Aqara Home app. Note that U200 is currently compatible only with the Aqara M3 hub and not with other Aqara Zigbee hubs. Convenient Unlocking Methods
The U200 offers a variety of convenient unlocking methods, including Apple Home Keys (Apple 2-in-1 Matter controller & Border Router required), fingerprint, password, and NFC (supports Aqara NFC card only). You can also control the lock using the app, either via integrated Bluetooth or through Thread for remote access. Additionally, it supports temporary passwords, including one-time and periodic passwords for easy sharing with others, and it includes mechanical keys for emergency situations.

Powered by rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, the U200 offers a battery life of up to 6 months with up to 8 daily unlocking and locking actions via fingerprint or NFC (as of 8 daily actions). The keypad accommodates 1.5V AAA batteries and offers hard-wired powering capabilities. It operates flawlessly in extreme temperatures ranging from -15°C to 66°C and is IPX5-rated for outdoor usage. Note that AAA batteries are not rechargeable, and a hardwired setup requires a 12V-24V AC or DC power supply.
Quiet Unlock Mode and Auto Lock
Equipped with Quiet Unlock Mode, the U200 allows you to unlock the door slowly, reducing noise levels effectively. This feature can be activated from the keypad and doesn't require a hub or Thread border router. Thanks to the built-in gyroscope, the U200 can remind you if the door is left open and automatically lock it after closure. This feature can only be used in the Aqara Home app, and ensure the firmware for the Aqara Home App is up to date.
